Contemporary interior design for an exceptional Haussmann apartment in Paris
In Paris, on Rue Marbeuf, the architects’ firm revamped the contemporary interior design of an exceptional Haussmann apartment, playing the decorative and chromatic cards of the place. Renovated from top to bottom, the apartment has preserved and enhanced its original features: wood panelling, rosette mouldings, floors, railings…
Luxury interior decoration combining black with classical Hausmannian style
In keeping with their aesthetic principles, the architects developed a new decorative project based on the personality of the owner, an art and design enthusiast. The result was the choice of black lacquer as the dominant color for the living and reception areas, on the walls and ceiling, highlighting both the pure, timeless designer furniture and the art collections. The choice of a black lacquer, far from darkening the room, lends it an unearthly luminosity and radiance.
For this Parisian apartment, the architects also created a bespoke collection of furniture: vast sofas, couches and coffee tables, with breathtaking dimensions and precious materials: mirrored steel, Florentine fur, python, leather, Venetian velvet…
A decorative ballet where each design or artistic creation harmonizes as much as it individualizes, in this luxurious renovation in Paris, in the heart of the Golden Triangle.
